This is the support page for FitPlot on Android and iOS. Most application problems can be solved by either restarting the device or reloading the application from the Google Play Store or Apple App Store. If neither of these resolves your problem and it is not addressed in this FAQ, please email support@kellytechnology.com. If you email support, please specify whether you are using Android or iOS and as much detail as possible about the problem you are experiencing.
How is my data backed up and synced?
All your workout logs and body measurements are stored locally on your device. On iOS, if you are signed into iCloud, your data is included in your standard iCloud device backup. On Android, your data is included in your standard Google account device backup. Your data remains private to you and is not transmitted to our servers.
How can I export or import data to a spreadsheet?
With the Pro Upgrade, you can export and import your workouts and measurement history as CSV files. On Android, tap the overflow menu (⋮) in the top-right of the Workouts or Measurement History screen. On iOS, tap the Action/Share button. You can then select the date range and destination for your CSV file.
Can I change the order my exercises are listed on the workout page?
Yes. By default, exercises are listed alphabetically. On iOS, press the "Edit" button and reorder rows using the drag handles. On Android, exercises can be reordered directly in your exercise list.
Can I mix weights in pounds and kilograms?
Yes. If your gym uses a mix of units, you can set weight units on a per-exercise basis or switch global defaults in Settings.
Why does my 1RM matter?
One-rep max (1RM) is a reliable benchmark for strength progress. In addition, when you enter a 1RM, FitPlot can automatically calculate working set weights as a percentage of your 1RM and pre-fill set weights during a workout.
Are my body scan images or camera frames saved or uploaded?
No. FitPlot does not record, upload, or store video frames or photos of you. The camera feed is processed entirely in real-time on your device using computer vision to detect key body points and estimate dimensions. No images or videos ever leave your phone.
Why doesn't the voice command "measure" work?
Voice prompts require microphone permission. Ensure microphone access is granted in your device settings (Settings > Apps > FitPlot > Permissions on Android, or Settings > FitPlot > Privacy on iOS) and that your microphone is not muted or blocked.
Why does the app take 5 passes for front and side views?
All visual measurement systems experience small frame-to-frame variations. FitPlot captures 5 passes for both front and side profiles and averages them to smooth out visual noise, producing a significantly more reliable measurement.
How accurate are the body measurements?
FitPlot estimates body circumferences on-device using computer vision pose detection scaled against the height you enter. Results are best used to track body composition trends over time. On iOS Pro models with LiDAR, depth sensors measure physical distance to enhance scale calibration. On Android, you can choose between the Front or Rear camera in Settings to use your device's best available lens.
Which devices support LiDAR and camera scanning?
Computer-vision camera scanning is supported on all compatible Android and iOS devices. On iOS, hardware LiDAR depth scanning is available on iPhone Pro and Pro Max models (iPhone 12 Pro and later). On Android, you can toggle between Front and Rear camera in Settings depending on your device's optics.
Why does the app ask for my biological sex?
FitPlot uses US Navy body composition formulas to estimate body fat percentage from your measurements. Because these formulas differ for males and females, selecting a biological sex allows the app to compute body fat %. This selection is kept strictly local to your device. Choosing a biological sex is optional — if unselected, body fat % is simply omitted.
What features are included in the Pro Upgrade?
Upgrading to Pro removes all advertisements, unlocks CSV data export and import for workouts and measurements, and on supported iOS devices enables LiDAR depth scanning.
How do I cancel my subscription?
You can manage or cancel your subscription at any time. In FitPlot, select Cancel Subscription / Manage Subscription from the main home menu. On Android, this opens your subscriptions in the Google Play Store app. On iOS, it opens your Apple ID subscription settings.
My subscription renewed, but the app isn't recognizing it. What should I do?
On iOS, select Restore Purchases from the home menu. On Android, subscription status is verified automatically with Google Play on app launch whenever an active internet connection is available.
